Who Knew

Who knew that stitches hurt more coming out than going in?  I should have, I knew they'd numbed me to put them in.  They certainly didn't to take them out. Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, one for each of the little buggers.  But they're gone and it all looks good.

Who knew that if you put a bright, white bedspread on your bed that the cat would hack up a hairball on it?  Should have known, she's been hacking them all over the house.  Here's hoping the stain comes out, I sprayed it, washed it on gentle and hung it on the clothes line as per the instructions on its tag.
Looking forward to Mother's Day tomorrow, get to Skype with our daughter and have lamb for lunch.   Only thing that could make it better would be to have her here..

  1. My longhair conveniently leaves his hair balls on the rugs. We are trying hairball treats. He used to lick the stuff from the tube, like ambrosia, but now disdains it. I came home with one of every brand of hairball treats recently and he picked one, so, we'll see.
Glad you can wiggle your nose again.

  2. Cats can be relied upon to hack up hairballs in the least convenient spots for clean up. If they can manage this feat with an audience, so much the better to appreciate the dreadful sound effects.

  3. Ouch is right! At least it's over and they are gone.
I'm excited that you signed up for Richard III also. I am also going to be practically your neighbor in about a week. I hope we can meet in person sometime soon!

  4. Ouch and ouch...so glad that's over. I just put a fresh white duvet on my bed....and told my dearest..if Molly gets wet feet on her walk.....close the bedroom door. I don't need little muddy paw prints on my Spring Bedding. HaHa.

Have a wonderful Skype time with your daughter. We will do the same with our daughter in Oregon.
