It's Good to Go and Even Better to Go Home

We're back from our trip to England, we were gone 17 days, too long, we wore ourselves out.  Again this year we stayed in Black Bourton in Garden Cottage, set in the middle of the most beautiful garden.  Very small cottage,  just right for 2.  The owner had set us up a cream tea for us, but we were so tired the first day we had it for breakfast the next day.
I love English gardens and Nikki has grown/designed/ developed a beautiful one.
Let me share a few photos.

This is a star-shaped bed, plants brought from an English Astronomer's garden

And this doesn't include the espalied fruit trees, the croquet lawn or the mixed flower/veggie potagers.

  2. It's listed with Manor Cottages, but it was our 3rd time staying there and we booked directly with the owners.

  6. What a lovely place to stay and if you have stayed there several times it must be good and feel like a home from home. No matter how much you enjoy a holiday it is always good to be home:)

  7. That looks like a gorgeous place, I think the next time that I go to England with my kids, I will make sure that stay in the Country for a time... Of course I'll need to rent a car. We were in the UK for 8 weeks. It wasn't long enough for me, but the kids were ready to come home!!!
    Much love,
    Tammy
