Finally

It's done!  Finished it this morning.  It wasn't hard, it's just that I tend to be hyper and it's hard for me to sit and do anything, I like to move around.  Except for reading I seldomly sit still.  But it is done and I'm quite pleased with it.
Had rain again yesterday and it was a bit cooler, but much more humid which means it was flat out miserable.  Can not wait for summer to be over.

  3. I'm impressed at how even and straight it is. Last time I tried something like that it was totally wonky. You obviously got some skills there!!!

Seriously, I love your finished piece and you should be very proud of it! I know how hot it has been for you, so my hat is off to you, my dear! xx

  10. A gorgeous giant granny, love a bit of alliteration. I take my hat off to you, I find it hot to sit under a large woolly project in the winter, never mind the heat and humidity that you have worked through.

  20. What a beautiful afghan Janet! I love shades of grey in anything. You finished it well ahead of the cooler weather too! Still hot & hazy here too, but I'm enjoying it. Sitting on the patio early this morning enjoying the sunshine and listening to the water gurgle in the fountain. It's nice right now before things get steamy :)
