A New Beginning

It was time to beat the silver threads into submission so they'd blend into the gold.  So thank you Miss Clairol.  While I was waiting for the color to set I decided to work on one of the puzzles I got for Christmas.  Mac gave me one that has 10 puzzles of varying sizes and I started with what looks like the smallest.  All the puzzles have birds and are so pretty.  The one I did filled in the time nicely.  Miss Kitty, who is in the dog house, came to help, but had to be satisfied with napping on the window seat.
A good way to start the week.

  1. That's a good idea. I never somehow think of puzzles but they are fun.

  8. That puzzle is lovely. I used ot do a lot of jigsaw puzzles but the leaning over got to be a problem with the old back. Now I am reduced to doing jigsaws on the iPad, which I enjoy.

  10. Such a pretty puzzle. On our hike a couple weekends ago we were accompanied by a whole flock of bluebirds that preceded us down the trail, flying from bush to bush for at least a half an hour. This weekend it was robins.

  11. What a pretty puzzle. The only puzzles I do these days are of Mickey Mouse and Lightening McQueen!

  13. Very nice. One of the things I did with my grandson Tristan (3 1/2) was puzzles. He loves them, and what a teaching tool.

  15. That IS pretty. When my daughter was very young she declared that my husband's mother must be old because she had grey hair but that my mother wasn't old because she didn't have grey hair. My mother, who has been dying her hair for at least 35 years, heard this and said that in that case, she will always be Clairol Grandma! x
