An abysmal choice for government lies ahead now the party I once favoured, the Liberal Democrats, have neutered themselves as members of a coalition with the Tories (Conservatives). I too have always voted but next time might just choose to do the same as you. What would those women who suffered to get us the vote think now?Tessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06015106721401518477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-59619995418741011832012-03-08T09:41:13.333-08:002012-03-08T09:41:13.333-08:00I voted last time and we ended up with something r...I voted last time and we ended up with something really bad, so I don't see how my voting will change things. Obama was elected because many people were excited about having an African-American as president. There were far more qualified ones to run, but they picked him and we've had to live with the results. I'm sure he'll be reelected though things are not going well, just because of the poor quality of the Republican candidates.Mac n' Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05732924562630675589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-834401435885933292012-03-08T09:31:00.992-08:002012-03-08T09:31:00.992-08:00I think a lot of people feel the same way about po...I think a lot of people feel the same way about politicians in general. I must say that, though it's absolutely nothing whatever to do with me, I'm highly unimpressed by any of the Presidential candidates and I'm glad I don't have to choose one to vote for. I do agree with the anonymous comment that if good people don't vote at all then you could end up with something REALLY bad!Rowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13679130612798888266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-51408243096487163102012-03-08T01:42:50.095-08:002012-03-08T01:42:50.095-08:00It's still important to vote, to cast your bal...It's still important to vote, to cast your ballot for the lesser of two evils...evil prevails when good people do nothing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-84900740689338074172012-03-07T19:26:00.442-08:002012-03-07T19:26:00.442-08:00There's a great freedom in being apolitical.
