I don't like cities but would enjoy seeing historic sites, places I've read about.
Still very hot here--and so dry.
Had to stay away from your posts for a day or two--that serpent!mMorning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-85870553037249636662011-08-30T11:37:44.727-07:002011-08-30T11:37:44.727-07:00Thanks for your comment :)

It's great that you have seen so much of it - you've probably seen more of my own coutnry that I have!! We can't afford to travel a lot right now, but I do intend to explore the whole of the UK myself in the future!Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16043065727770116407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-35361727087074445442011-08-30T08:29:40.171-07:002011-08-30T08:29:40.171-07:00Rosie, I love Josephine Tey's Daughter of Time...Rosie, I love Josephine Tey's Daughter of Time, but I'm not familiar with Jarmans' We Speak No Treason", must go looking for it. I've been interested in the Plantagenets and Richard III in particular since my teens through Shakespeare's plays and in my early 20s I read Josephine Tey's 'Daughter of Time' and then Rosemary Hawley Jarman's 'We Speak No Treason' - I was hooked. I try to visit Ricardian places - we recently went to Bosworth Heritage Centre again and walked the battlefield trail but I've yet to post about it. Middleham is wonderful isn't it?Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-11159641421704014522011-08-30T00:53:04.647-07:002011-08-30T00:53:04.647-07:00I love England too. And since then read many books and seen many BBC TV series to remind me of the landscape.DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04533307672147117843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911604654446032587.post-51508889776357654552011-08-29T14:48:41.418-07:002011-08-29T14:48:41.418-07:00You probably know more about English history than ...You probably know more about English history than I do!
