Ninja Gator! Alligator climbs fence.

A friend of ours published this on Facebook.  Scary!  In town we have a park with old rice paddies and lots of alligators.  Backing up to the park are houses.  Most of the owners have erected chainlink fences thinking that's all they need to keep the alligators out of their yards.  I think some of them need to watch this video.

We had an alligator get out of the water and lay in our backyard once, scary as all get out.

  1. O M G I thought that it was bad enough when Henny Penny found 2 rat snakes in her hen house. I am so glad that we just have Badgers and Foxes to concern us.

  3. Yikes. Never knew those could climb like some kind of big lizard! (not that we need to worry about them here...)

  5. Oh my that is scary. Guess I will take they coyotes anyday:)
I enjoyed your post about the Round A bouts, we got one in a town 30 miles away, most people still don't do it right...they just go left to where they want to go. Honestly they shouldn't be driving! On one of the exits to a Motel 6 at the Wisconsin Dells exits you have to go through three round a bouts to get to the motel:)

  6. That does not surprise me at all.
We have all sizes of lizards here and they climb over anything.
Before letting the Square Ones out I always check the "fenced" in yard and outside of the yard for Javelinas, Bobcats and Mountain Lions. The Coyotes are always here.

    cheers, parsnip

  8. Aaack! Not the kind of wake-up call anyone wants to get.

I have to admire its persistence though. :)
