Home from our journeys, a million things to get caught up on, a cat clambering for attention, 200 pounds of laundry and still half asleep. But the trip was wonderful. Japan was great, so easy to see why our daughter is in love with it. She was a wonderful tour guide. Our day trip in Korea was fun and Angkor Wat was a dream come true. So just a few quick photos. I think I have the pictures labeled correctly, if not my daughter will let me know.

How cool! So glad you had a wonderful time! I would have liked to take the trip over the water to Korea on our forthcoming trip to Japan but just not enough time to do everything.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. Bet your cat was soooo pleased to see you. Look forward to hearing all about it Japan is on my list one of these days :) B
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good time. Both my niece and nephew have been to Japan this year (on separate holidays) and both loved the place.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home !
ReplyDeleteI have often thought that a small Japanese bridge would like nice in my garden, the only problem is I would have to dig a trench to make it look right and that is not going to happen.
Lucky you - I look forward to some pictures.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Rest and catch-up.
ReplyDeleteI know you were excited to see your daughter.
I can not wait to hear about your adventures and see your photos.
cheers, parsnip
Beautiful shrines and lovely bridge. So nice to visit your daughter - it must have been difficult to leave......I have always wanted to see that part of the world - thank you for sharing. Looking forward to more....xx Karen

Close! The first pic is Kushida Shrine and the bridge is from Dazaifu Shrine.
ReplyDeleteThe photos look amazing. Japan is a place we have been but would love to, maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing more, so pleased that you both had a wonderful time, and have now returned home safely.
ReplyDeleteExcited to hear about your trip. Japan really does seem the place to go at the moment - I have been hearing so much about it yet nothing a few years ago. We've been watching a great TV travel documentary about Japan, presented by actress Joanna Lumley and both Dougie and I are quite smitten with it.
ReplyDeleteHave you started that laundry yet? ;-)
Such an exotic location. You must feel like you really experienced something so different in this tour. Glad you had a great time ... the photos are wonderful!
