I'm very late in posting, had a bit of a set back after my last round of chemo and am finally feeling up to par again. They're going to change my chemo and keep me stronger after the next go around that starts Monday. I start radiation Wednesday, so hoping I do better.
We went out to breakfast today and that felt so good, haven't had much of an appetite, but ate all of my breakfast today.
They did a CatScan and my tumor is shrinking YEAH! Here's hoping the next go around shrinks it even more. I'm feeling very optimistic.
It's been cold here, but promises to be a beautiful weekend for St.Paddy's Day. All the locals are up in arms because the Vice President is coming down for the Parade tomorrow and all the rules have changed, they wish he would just stay away.
More than 300,000 people show up for St. Patrick's Day in Savannah, it's quite a party.
Hope you all have a great weekend,
Tough times for you, I hope you feel stronger soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your treatment seems to be working well. That's terrific news! Thinking of you, Janet.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking yesterday that it had been some time since an update from you. Its encouraging to hear that the tumor is diminishing. A close friend went through chemo/radiation [successfully] a decade ago--its an anxious time and for the patient, an uncomfortable time. Hoping the next round goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear your wonderful news. Take care. Missing you.
ReplyDeleteSuch good news !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip

ReplyDeleteGood news about the shrinking tumor. It's marvellous what medics can do these days. We in the UK used to celebrate the big Irish event but now there's just a parade and not much else. It could be due to past troubles.
ReplyDeleteGood news, have been thinking about you. Have a good St Patrick's Day:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear about the shrinking tumor. That's such fantastic news!

ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear it's shrinking, Janet. That's good, good news. It amazes me how they are able to deal with cancer now. Stay strong, my friend, and enjoy those good moments that come your way. Only this one thing on your to-do list now: get well.
ReplyDeleteIt was so good to hear from you, especially the great news that the tumor is shrinking. The first time I flew into Savannah it was near St Patrick's Day and all the fountains were green, even the one at the airport! I had no idea it was such a big deal in Savannah.
ReplyDeleteTumor is shrinking - well, that's great news! Keep going, keep fighting, keep optimistic.
