Have a Nice Trip

While exercising yesterday I tripped and fell.  Scared me more than it hurt me, my right index finger and knuckle are black and blue as is my left forearm.  Nothing broken, nothing much hurt except my pride, I hate being clumsy.  Also put a gouge in the floor, didn't realize I had such sharp edges  Don't know how I tripped which makes it hard to avoid doing it again in the future.  Today I'm a bit stiff and I will exercise very carefully .
Cold last night, finally, down to 40º, great sleeping weather.
Today it was run around town day, bank, store, Goodwill donation, another store and then home.  Too late to get much done.
OW!! Mac just closed his fingers in a bifold door.  Gonna be one of those weeks I guess.
No pictures, it ain't pretty.

  1. Dear floor in Savannah,
PLEASE watch out for that nice lady! She is very sweet but she is TOUGH, you know, and has those SHARP EDGES, so she MIGHT leave a dent in your nice finish!

HA! You are funny even in your pain!

Sorry that happened to you, sending you quick healing wishes. Happy Thanksgiving! xx

  2. Oh No !
Falling is not fun. I have a wonderful walker not the flimsy kind found in stores and ! still fell.
Really hurt my one good knee.
I hope you feel better soon.
As for the no pretty picture, I just looked at your wonderful greenhouse again.

    cheers, parsnip

  3. We had one of those weeks last week! Hope you are feeling a bit better
    Julie xxxxxx

  4. Ouch, hope you're feeling less sore today.

  5. Sorry to hear you had a fall. I am never sure quite how I do when I crash either. I hope your bruises heal quickly and you are able to cook the turkey, pies, and all. Or is that Mac's job?

  6. Do take care - it is so easy to slip and trip, and then the consquences can be dire. Hope you are both soon out of the wars and feeling much better. The cooler nights giving you a good sleep will help you both.

  7. You need some feng shui in your house, it seems! Hope you are better soon!

  8. You are like the walking wounded down there...hope you survive the week! :)
