Mac tried keeping him away from the windows by putting moth balls around them. The bird didn't care. He put birdseed out for him, but the bird didn't care, Mockingbirds are bug eaters.
So the windows are closed, the blinds are down, the door is closed and except for a bird with what should be a sore head, all should be well.
NO! Tired of attacking the windows he moved on to the garage door and splattered it as well, as I said before, he is a pooh head.
He is obviously in love with Mac's car:) Our neighbor had a Robin that did the same thing to her car:)
ReplyDeleteI see you catching him and driving across town to a park.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Have you tried putting up a fake owl or hawk decoy? We bought one from Amazon and hung it in our fig tree this summer as the crows were eating all the figs. We've never had a problem since. Maybe it will scare off the mocking bird. Take care, Pat xx
ReplyDeleteWe might try this.

DeleteHa ha, I think you're stuck with him.
ReplyDeleteLilly's Mom's idea is interesting. Do you think it might work?
ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing as I read your post. Good luck on that one, feel it could run and run!
ReplyDeleteSounds like he doesn't even know how to exit the gene pool.
ReplyDeleteI think this is going to be drama series rather than an one off show.
ReplyDeleteI find this particularly amusing. Sorry. That bird is definitely after something. Maybe she/he is trying to impress Mac. My daughter's pound pup used to flirt with young dark-skinned guys and would run circles around them in the backyard and then run up and pooped next to them as a sign of her infatuation.
ReplyDeleteYes, I fear he is "a pooh head."
ReplyDeleteI do hope this situation resolves itself soon for you.
All the best Jan
