One of my Christmas cacti that bloomed at Christmas decided to bloom for Easter too. Not complaining, it could bloom every month as far as I concerned.
Very warm here again, will be 90º by the weekend. The cactus will like it, some of the other plants not so much.
Our tomatoes are blooming and we're hoping to get some tomatoes before they die. Our tomatoes always die, each one finds a different reason and just gives up the ghost.
Time to exercise, oh joy.
Mine have buds on the end of them, but not sure they are actually going to flower.
ReplyDeleteOur Christmas one bloomed at Easter too. Very odd. Our tomatoes are going to be planted tomorrow.

I have an "Easter" Cactus. Looks just like Christmas one but the leaves are rounder.
ReplyDeleteI think living in the house changes the cycle. I think I use to put it somewhere darkish for the summer and let it sleep ... watered but not much more then bring it out around November and feed it and wake it up for Christmas.
Now I just leave it out all year..
cheers, parsnip
Such a pretty cactus! Have you tried putting a empty two liter bottle dug into the ground near your tomato plant, then just water it through the bottle:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful colour that is.
ReplyDeleteStay as cool as you can!
