I'm not a Bear, but I'm definitely fuzzy, my hair has started to grow back and as my sister forecast ( she had chemo about 10 years ago) first you grow fuzzy fur, eventually you get regular hair.
I had a good week, made my pillows, did some decorating and generally I felt pretty good.
Hot here, in the 90's, needless to say I won't be going out. Went shopping yesterday and it wore me out.
Next week is all about Doctor appointments---Retina Specialist, Oncologist and Primary Care Doctor.

ReplyDeleteOh my yes, it is hot now and I bet it is even hotter for you in Savannah! Now, just take care of yourself and let us be so very grateful for the wonderful air conditioning! You will still have to be the hot weather in and out of your appointments, but that A/C cranked up when you get back in your car and home!

Good luck with all the appointments! I'm glad your hair is growing back. Losing her hair hit my Mum really hard. At first it was fuzzy, like you said, but eventually it grew back exactly the same - very straight and dark with grey. Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteHot here in NE Texas too. Hoping for rain. Glad to hear you are getting back to normal. My husband has gotten past all the hurdles and has gotten to the final point of starting radiation and chemo next week. It's been a long struggle, at least it feels like it. If they had started treatment right away we'd be halfway through the first 5 weeks of treatment by now. Did you experience the frustration of hurry up and wait?

P.S. We had about a week of 90+ temps at the end of May. Too hot for that time of year, for Wisconsin at least.
