A Good Post

One of my wonderful blogger friends (they're all wonderful), Angry Parsnip,  sent me a gift-----I'm thrilled.  She knows I love Godzilla so she sent me a Zilla, a tea towel with  iWinston style dogs,  a wooden mitten clip, and Blue Corn Pancake Mix and Prickly Pear Syrup.  How thoughtful and wonderful is that.
Did a lot yesterday.  Did the laundry, helped Mac make lunch, updated my calendar, wrote 2 letters and read.  Today I'm blogging, went for a walk in the garden and I'm going to make pillows.
Getting better all the time

  3. There is no-one in the world like Parsnip (Gayle) for cheering one up when one is down. She has been similarly kind to me when I was going through a bad spell.

  6. I wonder why she calls herself 'angry parsnip' - kind and thoughtful parsnip sounds more in keeping. You are doing wonderfully well Janet, and as Christina mentions very positive.

    1. It is a very old family joke about a parsnip being angry that everyone likes the carrot best.
Family wants me to write it as a childrens book.

  17. Wow, it's good to hear that you are getting back on your feet! Let us know how that prickly pear syrup tastes! I love blue corn pancakes. They taste ... well, corny. And that's a good thing.

  18. We are watching a tv show I think you might like. Maybe you've already discovered it, but it's called The Good Karma Hospital. It's about the doctors in a small hospital in India. Wonderful characters, and we are loving it!
