The tree is almost done, but I can't find the gold icicles. A job for another day.
Can't find our stockings either and I'm missing a few other things too.
Miss Kitty watched, but touched nothing, she's such a sweetie.
One of our cats, years ago-Louis- climbed right up our tree. And Bear, another of our cats felt right at home. He use to be an outdoor cat and so he went under the tree and peed on everything.
Lunch today is my version of Olive Garden's Scrimp Scampi with Asparagus.
Very pretty. We won't put ours up for a little while. Can't say I'm really in the mood - sadly.
ReplyDeleteI shall wait until daughter Sarah arrives on the 14th before decorating the tree, she will want to help.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Our tree will not go up until after C’s birthday next Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. We will get our tree this week still need to finish my card.
ReplyDeleteIhave been at the vets with Truffles and so busy with her. things are not so great. Although she is a trooper.
Very nice. Laura put ours (hers) up three weeks ago. The cat is in heaven.
ReplyDeleteYou'll find them! Your tree looks lovely. (And yes, I've had tree Cat-astrophes, too!)
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty! I love the colored lights. Maybe that's what I need for a change. So far the cats have not bothered the tree.
ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing at the formerly outdoor cat who peed under the tree! That is a great story that I'm stealing to share with others this year. Your tree and lights are pretty and so many lights! Love it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, the lights are a delight. I smiled about the cat peeing...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, we've just put our up too. Great fun. 🌲
ReplyDeleteI am a miserable person, no decorations. I used to do the whole Christmas scene when my Joe was alive but it doesn't seem worth it just for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe've made a start but more to do!
All the best Jan
Looks lovely, we have decorated the kitchen so far for Christmas and the front door but that is it. Thinking of you and send all the good vibes and wishes , Selma x
ReplyDeleteHello!!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas tree is so pretty!
I do not remember when was the last time I decorated a Tree decoration.
Long time ago... I hope you will enjoy Christmas with your daughter!!
Have a lovely weekend.
We used to have a cat and he would pull the tree over every night, we'd have to dress it again every morning when we got up. My sister's cat was absolutely fine with their tree until they had guests round and then he promptly stood in front of it, turned his back and lifted his tail and squirted everywhere, my sister said she'd never been so embarrassed.
ReplyDeleteCats and Christmas trees sounds like a hazardous combination!
ReplyDeletePretty Tree:) Cats love trees!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is pretty, even without the icicles. Maybe Miss Kitty knows where the missing items are!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas tree is simply beautiful! We have 6 cats and so far they are behaving themselves with our tree. There is actually one ornament on the bottom that they love, but it's just a fabric one so I let them play with it {{smiles}}
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you! Hugs!
Lovely header. I smiled at the story of your cat Bear. The Christmas tree looks pretty with those red lights.
ReplyDeleteGood news about your doctor appointment. I am scared to put up our tree because of the boys, it is their first Christmas with us. It could be a disaster!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks fab! I love Christmas trees, they bring so much light and really lift a room and I'm always sad when mine comes down. x
ReplyDeleteLovely tree. Crazy Bear. Cat pee almost makes a difference in the air quality.
ReplyDeleteCats and Christmas trees are always an interesting combination.
