Random Thoughts.

Just some random thoughts as I sit here on my corner of the couch.
Day time tv is beyond awful.  How do people watch it.
Got a new iPad but haven't got it set up yet.  Why won't Apple let you talk to a human instead of texting.
I'm so glad my cleaning ladies are coming this week.  Mac does alot, but he needs time off too.
Read a good book, the Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths.  Not part of her 2 series, but rather a stand-alone.  Gothic ghost story, b u t modern.
Have a great week.

  2. I limit my TV as I find there is not a lot that I would be interested in watching. I like to read, and of course my Women's Bible Study take a lot of reading and answering questions for discussion. The little doggie in you header always reminds me our little Molly.

  3. Day time tv is indeed horrific. Do you have Netflix? There are lots of interesting documentaries and other things that aren't tv shows. -Jenn

  4. The only daytime TV I ever watch is the morning news and Dr. Phil in the afternoon. lol Glad you have a cleaning lady coming. Netflix might be worth it for you. There are some phenomenal shows on there. xo Diana

  5. Every since we cut cable and have various streaming services on various apps with various devices and a bunch of remotes, I don't know how to turn on the TV any more. I watch what my husband watches, and most of that is on Netflix.

    Hope you are getting better!

  9. Day time TV is indeed terrible. We occupy ourselves with our hobbies, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles when we can't get out.

  10. Our TV is no better... day or night ... in fact I reckon it could win a medal for showing rubbish. I have resorted to doing jigsaw puzzles, it's less boring.

  12. Good to read your random thoughts. Not many TV programmes we watch now, there is so much silly trivia I like a good drama like Line of Duty or gentle comedy like Detectorists or Upstart Crow I can always re watch a Poirot or Lewis. I loved The Stranger Diaries, at first I thought I wouldn't get into it but I soon couldn't put it down:)

  13. I enjoy the countryside and antique shows of British afternoon television but they do have a tendency to send me to sleep.

  14. I need to schedule my cleaning people. I've been sick and when I'm sick the house goes amiss very fast! Do you have netflix? It's a lifesaver for daytime!

  15. I look at the tv listings to pick programmes that Mr P and I can watch together. We enjoy word and general knowledge quizzes, travel info, documentaries and new dramas, if possible on BBC. I like reading so try to give more time to that as I'm a slow reader.
