I would like to show you some of Janet's artwork. She was not one to bragg, but in ways her work is

better than mine. She could sit down and complete her painting in just one go, I could never do this.

The same with sketches, she would just sit there and draw, while I would try different angles and

things. More often than not her drawing would be accurate, if a house had four windows, that what

she drew, I in turn would get halfway thru a sketch and realize I had no room for a fourth window!

  1. Those are really beautiful pictures, and I am glad you posted them so we could see Janet's talent too. She was always so enthusiastic about your art and it is great that it was mutual. Maybe you can post some more soon. Thinking of you.

  3. Lovely to see these pictures done by Janet - I know that beautiful little Dovecote at Blockley and Janet's rendition is excellent.
    Yes, do please show us more of her work, or write a post of your own if you feel like doing so - it would be good to keep in touch.

  23. If your home has a pool or hot tub, look into a solar water heating system. Installing a solar water heating system costs about the same as a conventional system, but operating costs for the system will be much lower. Repair costs for solar heating systems are often lower as well.
