Lower Brockhampton
Lower Brockhampton a moated farmhouse in Shropshire is one of our favorite places in England and we have visited it several times. We sat so long drawing and painting there one time that when they closed the place for the day they left the gate open and told us to lock it when we left. Mac painted this in about 1997.

When does your air conditioner go out? When temperatures are consistently in the upper 80's that's when, of course. We're luck...

I love all the lovely old black and white buildings. Great painting.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have that sort of artistic ability...I'm very envious.

I remember visting Lower Brockhampton in the pouring rain! Even then it had a lovely feeling about it. I loved the separate gate house before you get top the house itself:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a talented pair you are. What I love about painting and drawing is how you can get so lost in time.
ReplyDeleteYou asked how far we walked in your comment on my last blog post. Probably not far. It was a good steep climb. We reached the snow line and then came back down to earth again! Probably no more than five or six miles in total
It's lovely. A special souvenir of your travels which brings back happy memories.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the reflection and the deep blue patch in the water.
