Daylight Savings Time

I can not believe we're going back on daylight savings time this weekend.  We just went off of it barely 3 months ago.  Why bother, just move us all up an hour and leave us there.  It grumbles me and I don't have to really adjust to it like I did when we were working.
It was up in the 70'a here today.  Would have loved to have gotten out in the yard to do a bit of work, but the yard is soggy from all the rain we've had.  This is going to be a yo-yo week, all the way up to 80 by Wednesday and then only to 50 on Thursday.
Trying to find my Easter decorations, but I've got them well hidden I guess, found my Easter tree and nothing else so far.  Is there anything tastier than a Reese's Peanut Butter Easter Egg?

  1. I'm with you. I wish they would leave the time alone. I like the longer evenings, but back and forth!! ugg.

I am also with you on peanut butter easter eggs. Yummy.

  2. Something is seriously wrong with this daylight savings business. There's nothing to save in winter, anyway; leave it ahead and be done.
I have a friend who "falls back" OK, but springing ahead upsets her biological clock so badly she takes a week off work to ease in. As in, vacation time.

  4. Our clocks will go forward at the end of March, I do wish they would leave them there then, it makes such a difference having that extra hour of daylight.

  5. Our clocks don't spring forward for another three weeks - I too think it is a silly idea.

I rather like the sound of that Peanut Butter easter egg - p.b. is just not as popular here as it is in the US.

  6. Our clocks don't change until the end of March, ages yet! We really do notice the difference in the amount of light here and so I am glad for the changes, but I nearer the equator - as you are - it makes less difference doesn't it, further north - we are on the same latitude as Canada - it makes a bit difference! xx

  8. Studies have shown that DST doesn't save energy, which was the original purpose. I hate the changes. :(
