Georgia may not be ready for Fall, but I am! Our walk this morning was horrible, so humid it literally made me sick. When we got back to the house I had Mac turn the air conditioner on, at 9 am, we never turn it on that early, but we did today.
I ironed today, lovely choice of activity for the weather, but I needed a new tablecloth for my table and it needed ironing.
Mac had brought down my Fall decorations and I have packed summer up and sent it upstairs. Now if only I could convince it to leave for real.
I am becoming more autumnal in my choice of flowers and decoration. Mind you we've had a lovely summer's day here today, not too hot and not too cold but sunny and bright.

Let's set a common time to be druids of old, and all go out of doors and shout to the universe: Welcome, Fall.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table covering! I try not to use anything that needs ironing. I am hanging onto the last bit of Summer cause I know what comes after Fall:)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your touch of Fall. I also love tablecloths. Before we had to downsize I had a formal maple dining set to seat eight, and I had tons of BIG tablecloths for every occasion and color....Boo Hoo....they were given to my daughters, as now I have a small round glass table...But I do love our place...small or not....it can be decorated.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Day.
I love how you have all your Autumn décor out and looking so pretty. I keep hoping for a little bit more of Summer, but that doesn't look likely.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is definitely gorgeous in your home!!! I wish fall would hurry and get to Texas as well!

I love your fall decorating. I still haven't bought the Mums or pumpkins. It is really hot and humid here today...with a chance of storms for the next three days. After that, it is supposed to cool off. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI hope that it cools down for you soon! xx
ReplyDeleteBe careful in this Georgia heat! It really doesn't cool down until sometime in October and then, sometimes not until November! LOL!
