Monday, Monday

And quite a nice one too.  Bit misty for our morning walk, then hazy sunshine and temperatures around 70º, I love it.  Load of laundry done and hanging on the line, some cross-stitching, exercising and piano playing.  That last bit is still a bit painful, but I'm working through it.
Today's lunch is going to be paella.  Mac's brother and his wife gave us a paella pan and all the fixings for Christmas and so I'm going to give it a go.  I usually just do my paella in a skillet, it's been years since I had a paella pan and I'm not sure how often I even used it.  But we shall see.

  1. I love paella and I love that pan. Sadly the farmer will not eat any form of sea food.

  3. I have never eaten that dish, even I didn't know .. from your post I've come to know it. I've searched it in google, and looks so yummy.. Is that special pan needed to cook the dish?

  4. I've never made it myself but I love to eat it. I didn't even know there was a special paella pan.
I keep meaning to ask you, was your Christmas card a print of one of Mac's paintings? So pretty.

    1. I don't remember which card I sent, but we've never made any of his paintings into a card, we probably should.

    2. Yes, you should take one of Mac's painting and make it your Christmas card this year. Be sure to have him sign it, especially on the back of the card.

  7. Not something we eat very often and I never cook it, I really don't know why. I quite fancy some now you have mentioned it. It has rained here the best part of the day, so definitely no washing on the line.
