Yes finally, the afghan throw that's been hanging over my head like the sword of damocles is finally done. It'll be a while before I crochet something that big again, my fingers are suffering from repetitive stress syndrome. Next is going to be pot holders and some Swiffer covers. That said, I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
I also finished another puzzle, it was a cutey and fairly simple. I received several puzzles for Christmas so will probably try one of them next.
Just a brief word about the weather-----IT'S COLD!!!!!
Time to play a little piano before I forget what I'm doing, I've skipped playing the last couple of days so I could work on my afghan and I miss playing.
First of all, it's looks so lovely with that ray of sunshine hitting it on the bed. I want to just crawl in and snuggle!!
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle is really nice. Like the colors.
I'm still knitting dish cloths, now in spring colors. Never could get the knack of crocheting.
Wow, it's lovely ... I cannot do afghans as I don't have the patience for them. Congratulations on finishing it!
ReplyDeleteGreat new header too. :)
Definitely worth all the work, it's fabulous. I always buy my dad a puzzle for Christmas, he really enjoys doing them. I really wish we had a piano, I had a few lessons when I was young but gave it up so I can't play but I'd enjoy tinkling on it. Eleanor's got a keyboard with lots of different sounds including a piano but it isn't the same as the real thing.
