In the Garden

Day two in the garden  and lots more planting.  The "hot" corner with Kalenchoe and Pentas is done, also added some Petunias and a Phlox.  At the other end which is shadier I put in a Carnation.  They never do well for me, but I love them and always plant one.  It's a soft pink.  There are 4 Chrysanthemums waiting to be planted there too.
In the next bed which is quite a bit shadier I have started with my purples and put in a purple Penta and a couple of white Petunias.
It's really hot out there so I have retired to the house.  Not much housework gets done when I work in the garden, but I need to get a little bit done before I exercise.

  4. That's going to be beautiful. I love carnations for their smell. Reminds me of my grandma who had a lot of them in her garden, and of the corsages I got for dances as a teenager!
