A Sloth Day

I've had such  a lazy day.  Had I  moved any slower sloths would have left me in t h e dust.  Not tired, just unmotivated.   Mac, bless his heart, cleaned the kitchen for me, even swept the floor.
I sat on the couch, crocheted and watched the British Open, go Speith.
Now I'm ready for a nap.

    I've had one too. Little B has been ill and I have had to sit next to him and crochet all day long. I have had enough of Disney Jr on the TV.

    Must be a lazy day, as I've had one here too. Read for a couple of hours before I even got out of bed! I did empty the dishwasher and wipe down counter tops, but that's about it.

    Sloths are such cute little creatures - I think that they sensibly pace their lives to their habitat in Costa Rica, and you are doing the same.

    Sloth days are quite restorative I find. Slow, gentle and maybe a little boring - a perfect opportunity to just enjoy where the journey of life has taken you up to then. x

    Take a day. All the "stuff" you didn't do will still be there tomorrow, or whenever you feel ready. -Jenn

    That's why we retire -- so we can take a sloth day when we need it!

    This hot weather is enough to make anybody feel like a sloth. We really need rain. I should be outside now, toting buckets of water to the poor dying plants...but it's too hot.
