Conversation with Melisandre my dermatologist yesterday.
"Are you going to give me a shot in my nose?"
"Yes."
"My nose hates you."
"I'll try not to hurt you."
"I'll try not to cry."
All because I'm of Irish descent and we grow skin cancers recreationally.
I've had 8 so far.
Yesterday my nose was sliced for a biospy, today my nose is fiery red.
I need to find another recreation.

Good afternoon- this is the only way I could reach you - sorry-- We get tons of emails every day so I don't know which one is from you but we are showing all our purchases went out. Did you get your mag? Please let me know at

No I didn't.
ReplyDeleteOnly 8 sun cancers. I want to be that lucky! Are you using Efudix cream on you solar keratoses and Aldara on the worse ones? And there is a rather expensive treatment the doctor has to do called PDT. All fairly painless and no excisions. I maintain a pet reconstructive surgeon for the worst stuff. How did I choose my heritage so badly??? It is that Celtic skin.
ReplyDeleteMy dad is constantly having bits of cancerous skin frozen, diced, sliced, or otherwise removed. We too have the Celtic heritage - I shudder to think what the coming decades hold.
ReplyDeleteHope your nose feels better soon!
