Where Does the Cat Sleep?

In answer to that I'd have to say anywhere she wants.  In order to get her 20 hours of shut eye each day she has to vary her routine.  She sleeps in windows, on boxes, on the music books by the piano, on the tv satellite box, under the bed, on the bed, on the end table with her head on the couch, on the kitchen table, the entryway tables and any other table that takes her fancy, on my puzzle, in any cupboard she can open, under the sink, on the newel post, on her window seats, in her tunnel and on her scratching post.  Where doesn't she sleep?  In any cat bed we've ever been foolish enough to buy here.
Lately her favorite place is on Mac's printer.  And just to be truly weird we found her this morning on the bathmat that was wet and laying on the tub faucets.  Cats!

  2. Cats....You've gotta love them!! I've lived with cats since I was a child... and that's a looong time ago. Some how I managed to convert my hubby who had never been around them and now he's and bad as I am. They keep a person guessing.

  3. If it is as warm as you say and since the cat is wearing a fur coat
I think a napping on a wet bath mat might feel really great !

  4. My cat walks up to the dog sleeping in her bed, wacks her fanny with ten sharp ones and then takes her bed. He's the boss, until we find the sad dog staring into her bed and then we boot the cat.

  5. Too funny :) I'm amazed she didn't fall off the bathtub in that position. Kind of envy her in a way... no sleeping troubles there, apparently!

  7. Cats are surely a law unto themselves--and they don't take kindly to suggestions regarding proper--or improper--places to nap. As long as we--their providers--can accept this as imaginative rather than aggravating, all is well.

  11. Wonderful pose, if our legs hung over the bed like that we would fall out.
It must be a truisum that you feed, shelter, love dogs, and they look at their owners and think “they are God”. You feed, shelter, love cats, and they look at their owners and think “I am God”

  12. Awww, this made me smile. We used to have a cat and he was happy to sleep in his cat bed. I'd love another cat but Daniel's become allergic to them, they bring on an asthma attack so no more pussy cats for us.
