I love English gardens and Nikki has grown/designed/ developed a beautiful one.
Let me share a few photos.
Our Cottage |
In Front of our Cottage looking towards the Manor House |
This is a star-shaped bed, plants brought from an English Astronomer's garden |
And this doesn't include the espalied fruit trees, the croquet lawn or the mixed flower/veggie potagers.
Oh, my goodness, what a lovely cottage! and beautiful garden and location. Where did you find it?
ReplyDeleteIt's listed with Manor Cottages, but it was our 3rd time staying there and we booked directly with the owners.
ReplyDeleteThe cottage and its garden look lovely. Looking forward to reading about the places you visited.
ReplyDeleteSeventeen days. What bliss.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot...feels like I could move in tomorrow. How wonderful you could spend so many days there. Nice to be home I'm sure. Love the painting in your header...excellent.
ReplyDeleteWow that sounds like a great trip! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your time in the UK, but I do agree that however much one enjoys one's holiday it is always nice to come home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to stay and if you have stayed there several times it must be good and feel like a home from home. No matter how much you enjoy a holiday it is always good to be home:)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a gorgeous place, I think the next time that I go to England with my kids, I will make sure that stay in the Country for a time... Of course I'll need to rent a car. We were in the UK for 8 weeks. It wasn't long enough for me, but the kids were ready to come home!!!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Tammy
