I joined in with Amy at Love Made My Home for a Christmas card exchange and my partner was Anne at Annie OB Textiles. She sent me this lovely homemade card. I've been so impressed with all the homemade cards this year that I may try it next year. In the meantime, we're off to the airport to pick up our daughter.
Don't know how much blogging will go on for the next few days, so just in case:
What a beautifully made card! I love that Amy does the swap for us - it's so much fun and helps set the tone for the season. Merry Christmas to you!! xoxo
Oh exciting times! Have a wonderful week with your daughter home. This card is simple and sweet. What's better than a handmade card? I have only made my own cards one time and decided that it was not easy in a busy season. I'd definitely need to get organized.
Your card is so pretty! I'm with you on making the Christmas cards, however, I think I would have to start making mine in February! Have a wonderful time with your daughter home and enjoy your Christmas together. Happy New Year Janet! Wendy xox
It's a lovely hand made card from Anne. I've enjoyed participating in the Card Swap too. Have a wonderful time with your daughter. Wishing you a happy Christmas.
Merry Christmas! Some years I have made my own cards, sometimes not. This year not :) but then I usually try to add some little extra individual decoration on it anyway (on the back or inside, depending on what kind of card).
How exciting to see your daughter! I hope you enjoy your time together to the utmost.
ReplyDeleteFlight from DC just got delayed 2 hours and 40 minutes, this leg of her trip is on United and I just HATE, HATE,HATE United.
