It's starting to come together. All the Christmas critters have come out of their tubs to decorate the living room fire place. I think it's actually only been cold enough to turn it on once at Christmas. But the critters love it, some sing, some dance, some just enjoy.
A pot roast in the crockpot, a red velvet cake for later and Mac chained to the easel. He sold 3 paintings this week and could not find one of them so he's had to paint a quick copy.
New header courtesy of my favorite artist. Hope you're having a good weekend too.
I love all of your soft friends!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful collection of Christmas friends. I love the header, beautiful.
ReplyDeletethan new painting is perfect with the rustic chair and the red bird. Inspires me to nest.
ReplyDeleteThe new header is lovely - I imagine that's as close as you'll get to snow and ice this Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to see everyone's decorations. Your hearth looks very cheery. :)
So much Christmas fun.

cheers, parsnip
Red Velvet cake...I bet it was wonderful! :)
ReplyDeletelove the Cardinal in the header, I found some fabric a couple of years ago with some in the pattern. I managed to use every scrap. Pot roast followed by Red Velvet cake, sumptuous.
ReplyDeleteLovely wintery, seasonal painting from Mac, love the Cardinal. Your Christmas critters look like fun and are so cheerful in the seasonal home:)
ReplyDeleteAwww, your Christmas critters are so cute. Loving the new header.
ReplyDeleteAh I love your critters and the new header is wonderful. I love taking all our Christmas decorations out and putting them in exactly the same place every year. We had an awfl year when all our tree decs were ruined by a family of mice and I had to throw them all away and start again - so sad. But we still have all the old non-tree favourites sitting in their usual places and I love that.
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas friends ...
ReplyDeleteAlso love your new header.
All the best Jan
