Excuse the screen I took it through the window. |
We woke to fog today, so a good day to stay in and start the yearend clean up.
Ate lamb sandwiches yesterday and then froze the rest of the lamb, most of the pumpkin pie is gone, I made it and didn't particularly like the taste of it, though Mac and April did.
I got puzzles for Christmas and will pick one to start the New Year with.
GODZILLA !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Happy New Year, almost. A foggy day is a good day to start a puzzle. Glad you daughter is safely home and has a few days off.
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely lamb dinner at our middle daughter's home Christmas Eve. Now I'm eating left over ham from Christmas day at our sons. I made an apple pie, and had the last piece for breakfast.
I like you puzzles. I wish I was a puzzle person, but not that patient, I guess.
Glad to hear your daughter got back safely.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy doing your puzzles.
All the best Jan
Glad your daughter got to visit for Christmas and glad she made it safely back to Japan!
ReplyDeleteGuess what, I don't like pumpkin pie but I do like sweet potato pie, try that one next time. You will thank me! :-)
It is always a relief when the relatives are safely at home! That last puzzle is a beauty! :)
ReplyDeleteUgh. Year end cleaning does not sound as fun as celebrating the holidays! Happy New Year to you.
ReplyDeleteHow fun with the puzzles! When I was a young adult, my mom gave me a puzzle every year on Christmas. Always enjoyable to put them together! Glad your daughter got back home safe and sound.

So glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas and that your daughter was able to visit! It must have been difficult to say goodbye.....glad you will be able to visit her later this year and that she got home safe. That is a long flight! It's always nice to wind down after Christmas with some delicious leftovers and good puzzles. My youngest son and I used to do puzzles together. Now he likes the 3-D puzzles and built the Eiffel tower with his wife over the holiday. Hoping the New Year is good to you and your family. xo Karen
