First: There are the Christmas pillows spread around the house.
Second: I love Christmas and dress accordingly. My new sweater lights up when you move or when it's hanging in the closet if you brush against it. I thought about wearing it when we go to pick our daughter up Monday, but I'm afraid she'd disown me. She's a bit more low key about Christmas.
This is the one that lights up |
Third: These are some of my Christmas earrings, I might get away with wearing them on Monday.
Fourth: The spirits are shiny and bright, we will be having Gluh Wein, a lovely German win served warm in the winter months.
Fifth: Thought I'd leave you with a selection of Christmas paintings Mac has done for me through the years.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
The Christmas paintings are a delight, you certainly have a talented husband. How wonderful that your daughter is coming home for a visit, enjoy some quality time together. Love the earrings, definitely my style.
ReplyDeleteLove the paintings (especially the kitten). I know you will enjoy having your daughter home. Wear the sweater! :) Great pillows.
ReplyDeleteThe dancing bears is my favourite, I think :)
ReplyDeleteLove the dancing/skating? bears. I wonder which earings and sweater you will chose to wear. Have a great weekend:)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely that your daughter will be with you on Monday - have a wonderful time, and let us know what she thinks of your flashing jumper.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous paintings! We have some Christmas cushions dotted around the place as well, always fun having something bright and cheery to look at. I say wear your Christmas sweater on Monday! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think you should wear it all to pick up your daughter. I saw a Christmas sweatshirt with lights. I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI love Mac's Christmas paintings. I think he should print Christmas cards and sell them! The idea of a sweater that lights up when you brush against it made me laugh! It's so wonderful your daughter is able to come home for Christmas and I think you should wear the sweater AND the earrings when you pick her up. Parents are supposed to embarrass their children -- it's our job!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad your daughter is coming home for Christmas! How excited you must be. I love your sweater :) And the earrings. And Mac's paintings--wish I had one of them on my walls. Maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteA very seasonal Five on Friday post. Mac's paintings are fabulous, I love the kitten and boots one.
ReplyDeleteYour sweater is great! Wear it and be decked along with the earrings. Your pillows are lovely and the paintings are great. My favorite is the bear Santa. Have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCute earrings and sweaters. Very fun and festive. Love Mac's paintings. Especially the doggie in the sock, as it reminds me of our Molly girl.
ReplyDeleteFrom pillows to paintings I enjoyed your five this week :) I hope you have a lovely visit with your daughter...even if she is a bit more low key about Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love Mac's Christmas paintings, they are beautiful! I hope your daughter gets home safely and that you have a wonderful time with her, I am sure she will not worry what you are wearing and will enjoy something festive, she will just be so glad to see you!
