Busy week, Sunday was Mac's birthday and because he didn't have one in Spain I fixed him a Paella . I t was delicious, if I do say so myself. We Skyped with our daughter and he opened his presents. She, of course, sent him lots of Japanese goodies to eat. We both got him books and I got him some vintage items that he collects.
Then Monday I took him to the doctor. He'd come down with a bad cough when we were in Spain and we thought it was allergies, but it wasn't getting any better so we decided to have it checked out. Turns out he has the flu, not a bad case, but he needed medication. He's doing much better now, but I bet that cough just lingers, they do tend to do that.
I have a cough now and I'm wondering if I have it too. We have our semi-annual check-ups tomorrow so I guess I'll get checked out too.
Beautiful day here in the swamp, it actually went down into the 40's last night and today is sunny and only in the 70's. Feels like heaven.

ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to Mac! I think the most annoying thing about a cold or the flu is the cough that sometimes stays for weeks. I drink thyme tea to help with the cough.
