Summertime, Serious Summertime

All housework has been suspended until further notice.  The temperatures have been hovering in the upper 90's for days now with no end in sight.  We've had no rain either which would have been nice.  At least the humidity isn't too bad.  So it's air conditioning broken by breaks in the pool, followed by cool meals.

  1. Sounds like us in August! We had 71 for a high today, just perfect for me! Stay cool! We have some of those Polar necktie things filled with beads that absorb water and they work real well to keep me cool:)

  3. How glad I am that it very rarely gets as hot as that in the UK. I wonder how people coped before the days of air conditioning especially in cities. Stay cool.

  4. Flips sake !
Rather you than me Janet anything over 70f and life becomes weary. Over here it is warm enough to comfortable but still cool enough to need a fire at night.

  5. Here in the North of England it is cool, sunny and windy. A few very warm days would be very welcome. Like Heron, we need some form of heating in the evening.

  6. We had a couple of days of swelter, broken by rain, rain, rain. I understand it's to be around for a couple of weeks. The rain, that is. Nice to sleep with open windows.
