Ready For Poirot

I've cleaned the upstairs tv room, it needed it badly.  Sometimes I'm not very good about getting in there and sorting things out.  But tonight we're having a Hercules Poirot evening and I knew that it would not do, he would not approve of the room's condition.  So I vacuumed, dusted, sorted, folded and put the room, or at least the front of the room where we watch tv, in order.  As to the back of the room, Mac's pub, well, I don't know what Poirot would say, but I fear he would not be happy, and instead of solving the crime he'd be organizing things.

    And your cat is also ready to watch Poirot!
    I can't think how I manage to get so untidy, but I'm comforted that it happens to others as well.

    Order and method, my dear Hastings! Mr. M and I love Poirot. The earlier ones are better, I think - they stuck with the original dialogue and plotlines. David Suchet is wonderful.

    P.S. Next time I do a giveaway it will be more crochet-oriented.

    There's nothing like a Poirot evening:) My favourites are Triangle at Rhodes and Death On The Nile - both David Suchet and Peter Ustinov versions but prefer PU - fantastic setting and costumes and having been to both places and done that Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan I actually recognize everywhere that they visit:)

    Yes it was tidy, but alas no more. I like all Poirots but I must admit I like David Suchet best, even though they've added a bit and changed things.
    We've done the Nile Cruise too, want to do the Orient Express. Last night's viewing included Triangle in Rhodes and Death on the Sea.

    It is big, too big for just the 2 of us, but I like it better than any house we've ever had. There are different names for that room upstairs, some call it a FROG, for "finished room over the garage".
