Five on Friday

It's Friday again, my they do come around quickly, and I'm joining in with Amy at Love Made My Home for this weekly event.
Nothing very special, just some things going on around our place.

First: In honor of Mac's new mandolin I'm posting a painting he did and I'm using it for my header for awhile.

Second:  I'm finished with my 12 Days of Christmas gifts and they're sitting next to the box that I'm mailing them in.  Hope to get them out next week.

Third: This is my craft room after I finished and with other Christmasy stuff going on I don't know when it will get straightened up.

Note the cat' tail, she was a big help, LOL.

Fourth: Is some extremely pink yarn that is being made into a Christmas gift for my daughter.  She likes hot pink and leopard print, but they don't make leopard print yarn unfortunately.

Fifth: And just because we're getting close to Halloween a Halloween picture.

That's my Five, hope you all have a great weekend.

  5. I love the Halloween cat painting! You are amazing to have Christmas gifts done and wrapped before Halloween. I bought one Christmas present so far -- and then mailed it to my grandsons because I couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to them! I'm hopeless.

  6. Ugh. Not feeling moved by the Christmas spirit just yet. I'll remain in denial a little while longer! I'm very impressed with all that you have accomplished though and I am just a tad jealous! I would love to be so organized. Have a wonderful weekend :)

  8. I guess I missed the 12 days of Christmas gifts post.
Why are you mailing them out so early ? I missed something. Nicely done.
I usually have my card design finished by now but so much has gotten in the way this year.
Like the last picture also. Very nice. Talented Husband.

    cheers, parsnip

  9. You are very organised to have your Christmas gifts ready to mail but I guess if you are making them yourself and have people in other countries to send them to it is wise to be organised. Lovely paintings of the musical instruments and the halloween cat:)

  10. I haven't bought a single Christmas gift - well done you. Lovely paintings by Mac, I particularly like the cat lying in such a typical posture.

  12. Oh my goodness! Does Mac play the mandolin? That is my favorite musical instrument! I love his paintings. I have never bought a single Christmas gift early. Always have big plans to, but never do.

  14. I keep seeing other bloggers involved in this 12 days of Christmas ... sounds like a lot of work! I've joined a swap with a mere 6 items to prepare, and I think I'll even get them finished in time ;) That's a great painting of the string instruments.
