You all go to so much more trouble over there than we do in the UK. Some people do have a pumpkin with a light inside (I do because it happens to be my birthday too) and this 'trick or treat' business is beginning to catch on. But that is about all.
ReplyDeleteI decorate for Halloween but only actually on the day. Have done it for years after seeing it in the US. I'm about the only one round here though.
ReplyDeleteOne neighborhood house begins with a yard with every known Halloween object, then begins trading it out for first Thanksgiving and then Christmas. I wonder where they store it all.
ReplyDeleteIt sure can't be easy being a non creative person around Halloween, that's for sure LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.

My favorite is the witch. Or maybe the spider web.
ReplyDeleteI have fall decorations but not really Halloween, unless you count the candy cane ribbon I used on the door wreath. And we will probably carve a pumpkin in a couple weeks because we really like the roasted seeds.
Oh I like your web! Well done to the little spider web too:)
ReplyDeleteI must agree with Far Side...love your web, and, oh so scary spiders.
ReplyDeleteI have loads of Halloween items to put out am abit behind this year!, more and more people are celebrating in Sussex UK now then before, can't wait for the pumpkin spice cupcakes yummy!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!xx
You have some very creative neighbours don't you! xx
ReplyDeleteI love how Hallowe'en is embraced in the USA! We decorate our house a little, inside and out, but nothing on your scale.
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you ever see my comment on Mac's treasure that he found a while back? I suggested that the inscription on it may be 'Honi Soi Qui Mal Y Pense' - hope that helps a little!
So much fun.
ReplyDeleteI don't decorate any more. No children around. And even if there were by the time they walked my hill
their parents would be carring them home.
I left a answer for you on my blog.
cheers, parsnip
Fun decorations! We're fortunate to live in a neighborhood where people go all out for holidays and it's so much fun. We don't do a lot at our house, but we always hang some spooky spider lights on our front gate and we carve jack o'lanterns and put them out front with candles inside. We do a lot more for Christmas. I love this time of year when there's a new reason to decorate every few weeks. :)
