Talk About Fast Growing

 Lightly sauteed in garlic and olive oil

We planted potatoes in February and when we were walking through the garden yesterday we saw several good-sized potatoes pushing up through the soil.  I was amazed!  We picked them and had them at lunch time today.  February was early for planting potatoes but it was so warm we did it anyway, and the weather since has continued warm.  We planted the potatoes in tubs on the patio because there was no room in my garden.  Now we need to get more tubs and plant more potatoes because the price of potatoes is getting ridiculous at the store.
