Election 2016
I'm doing my best to ignore the campaigning because it's very scary. I will make a prediction though. If the candidates turn out to be Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, Trump will be elected President----doesn't that scare the beJesus out of you. Because this country would rather elect a buffoon than a socialist.

When does your air conditioner go out? When temperatures are consistently in the upper 80's that's when, of course. We're luck...

If you check out the original constitutional convention, you will see we had a lot of disagreements and quite a few buffoons in that mix too. Maybe it takes a whole lotta shaking up to get a country going? All one can do is sit back and enjoy the show.
ReplyDeleteWe are watching with fascination here in the UK, Janet. Donald Trump is the object of much mockery. x
ReplyDeleteI agree it's like a circus show watching them on TV. However, if I could receive some benefits like others who vote for Bernie Sanders, then that would be great. However, I would never gain any perks from his being president. Just more of my tax dollars going down the drain....
ReplyDeleteI just read that if it were between Trump and Sanders, Bloomberg would run AND be elected. Wouldn't that be fun.
ReplyDeleteI tell my husband every day.....all we can do is watch it play out.....and PRAY,,,,,,,,,believe me it's scary.....
ReplyDeleteWatching them 'so called debate' is like seeing kids bickering in the playground. Actually I am being unfair to children as they conduct themselves with much more dignity.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch ...may the best person win:)
ReplyDeleteFrom the other side of the ocean the American elections are scary to observe. It is actually cringe worthy. Just imagine DT at the next G8 summit.... Keeping my fingers crossed that reason prevails in the end.
ReplyDeleteI think the campaign is being given as much coverage over here as it is there.
ReplyDeleteThere is much media focus on it here in Sweden too. And I have to admit I sometimes avoid the news just as I avoid gruesome horror movies...
