The sun is shining, clothes were hung out to dry, the pool was cleaned, Colin is gone. Lots of tree branches down in the neighborhood including one real biggie, but none of ours. We got nearly 3 1/2 inches of rain when all was said and done, but no damage, no flooding. Everything in the garden looks ok, except for the beans, not quite sure what their problem is.
I'm feeling better, decided to split my dosage into 2 parts. I take part in the morning and part in the evening, we'll see how that goes. It's either that or back to the old dosage. Haven't told my Doctor, but he's usually pretty understanding.
We just got the last film in the Hobbit series, don't know when we'll see it, I think it's probably about 3 hours long and the cat hates war movies, so we'll wait till she's asleep sometime---lol, like she isn't asleep most of the time.
Spent the morning wrapping things for our daughter's birthday, need to get it in the mail this week so she'll have it in time. Hate making out custom slips. The box feels pretty heavy, so I'm guessing it's going to cost a bit to mail. I promised Mac I wouldn't tell him how much it costs.
Tomorrow I have to wrap a painting for him, one of his paintings sold and is going to a new home in North Carolina.
That's about it for Tuesday in the swamp
Glad to hear you are safe from the storm. It sounds as though it was pretty horrid. Hope that you get the parcel off safely and that the split meds helps.
ReplyDeleteHope your new drug regime works well.
ReplyDeleteWe could do with some of your rain now that the grass has had its first cut. There was a storm and it went all round us but never actually rained on us.
Glad the storm didn't leave you with too much damage. We had a little light rain last night after many dry days. I hope you have sorted out the medication problem and that you begin to feel more yourself again soon:)
ReplyDeleteThrilled that the storm passed without too much damage. Hope the change in medication works better. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGlad there was no damage and that you're safe and sound. It's the same here with postage costs, they're extortionate. Hope you're daughter's pleased with her parcel.
ReplyDeletehappy to know you are safe
ReplyDeleteLife is so many bits that make the whole. Your post is one of those glimpses into the life of any of us, the parts that make it rich and whole. I am glad you survived the storm in good shape. Hoping you continue to feel better. And how did I miss that Mac is a painter?
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that all is OK with you. I loved the part about your cat! Pat xx

ReplyDeleteI hope that solves your medication problem. That's no fun. My garden is surprisingly okay too, and we had six inches of rain.
ReplyDeleteIn our county, it rained 3 inches...in the north part of our county that is! In the south part (where I live) we didn't have any rain! Glad you didn't have any trees down. Take care. xx
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you are safe and no damage after the storm ... they can be very scary indeed!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your daughter will love her gift, yes, postage can indeed be costly, but it is so lovely to receive a gift and card through the mail.
Take care and I hope you can sort your medication ok
All the best Jan
That sounds busy enough! We had a lot of rain from the storm, not sure how much but I was pretty wet running in and out of my car for two days.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Glad that you came through Colin pretty much unscathed, that's an awful lot of rain though. I have all The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies and also have the books on audio - love those books.
