I think I have House Maid's Knee from crawling around cleaning the stairs. I'd much rather have tendonitis from playing too much piano or carpel tunnel syndrome from crocheting too much. Unfortunately it's the stairs that need the most work and I'm not through yet. I crawled around with a stiff brush sweeping as much gunk off and out of them as I could, now I need to go back and spot clean them.
In my next life I want to be a cat, ours spent the morning having breakfast, playing with her tree stump and cuddling up with her tiger thingy next to a heater.
Come to think of it most of the gunk in/on the stairs was cat hair, maybe she should be cleaning them instead of me.

Sounds like a pretty grim job! I think puss really does need to learn how to use that vacuum! Hope your knee gets better soon.

Love the picture of the cat! Our feline friends have a way of ruling the roost and getting their human friends to wait hand and foot upon them!
ReplyDeleteThe cats in our house like to keep us busy cleaning up after them too! Most of the dust and hairs I sweep, wipe and sticky roller up each day belong to them. Hope your knee feels easier soon:)
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the cat cleaning:) Housemaid's Knee is not fun at all - I had it once, not from cleaning in my case but from climbing the steps in Edinburgh Castle in my early 20s. I had to go to a doctor and until he told me what was wrong I'd never heard of Housemaid's Knee! I've never forgotten it though.
