Ready for Halloween

The carving is done, the Jack O'Lanterns are ready ; wonder if we'll get any trick or treaters, we usually average about 2 a year.

  1. Very nice, I loved Halloween when the kids were younger and we decorated up to the hilt.

We sold everything of last year and made a few bob and cleared a bit of space ;)

  2. I rather like the spotty one - makes a nice change.

  3. Because we're in such a scattered, semi-rural area we've never had a little beggar. The village residents are outside with tables and candy, and the sidewalks are packed with children from all around, making the two block circuit through town and back. Lately they've added Trunk or Treat, and more parents park at the school and hand out treats from the back of the car.
    Another overboard holiday.

  4. We don't get any on our street at all. A street just up the road gets them all and all the houses decorate like no one's business.
least you've got the pumpkins out - I've been too lazy even for that!

  5. We get very few kids, but I love Halloween! Thanks for visiting my blog--I'm eagerly awaiting the next Cormoran Strike novel. I liked the second one better, too!

  6. It is always nice to see the lanterns glimmering at night, by day they are not so exciting though, I always think.

  7. No doubt we will have lots of callers as we usually do, in fact I was thinking that I better get some more candy tomorrow, I hope there is some left at the shop. Hope you have a good day tomorrow. xx

  8. I hope you bought LOTS of candy, just in case.

And then of course you'll have to eat it up yourselves.... :)
